Josh has done several small and large projects for my old Victorian home in Kingston. He’s always incredibly professional and accommodating. I know I can trust him to work diligently even when I’m away.
— Linda
Josh was able to analyze our land for future building, surveyed our waterfront for dock construction which included the creation of a drone video, which we will use for the lifetime of our property, and found a suitable location for our future custom home build. Josh ideated and planned our multi-phase remodel of our vacation property in the Greater Kingston Area. We live in Toronto, so it was important that I could trust my contractor. Josh built a strong relationship with me, and for me this was key.
— Peter
I hired Building Tradition to create a commercial showroom for my furniture and appliance store. There’s not much Josh and his crew can’t do when it comes to building your creation. We were surprised how organized and smooth the process was. Josh is a new breed of contractor: conscientious, accountable, innovative, on-time, and on-budget.
— Dave

I want to make sure my clients know what material is going into their projects, this is an educational process that I am passionate about. I also uphold a quality standard in all our workmanship, your relationship is important to me, and I want to uphold this.

About Me

My love affair with building and design started with Lego at the wee age of three. As I grew older, and with my fathers input the little Lego houses became real additions: garages, boathouses, saunas, and sheds. After graduating from nail runner to lumber-hauler as a young whip, I continued to work in the trades with my first job at the age of twelve as a landscaper. As I continued to refine my interest and skills during post-secondary education, I began working for myself as a building-contractor. Since this time, I have grown my small contracting company into a full-service contracting firm.
